Here is how each option works.
Custom beats
If nothing in the catalog is quite right, we can produce a beat from scratch to your reference tracks, tempo, key and mood. Custom work is quoted per project, and because it is made for you it is delivered exclusively: no one else will ever license it. Tell us what you need and include a couple of reference songs; that is the fastest way to get an accurate quote.
Sync licensing for film, TV, games and ads
A sync license lets you place music in a visual work. Every beat in our catalog is original and fully owned by the producer, so there are no samples to clear and no third-party publishers to chase. That makes clearance simple: one producer, one signature. Tell us the project, where it will run (broadcast, streaming, web, in-game), the territory and the term, and we will send a quote. If you need the track to be exclusive to your production, we can arrange that too.
Exclusive licenses
Any beat in the store can be bought exclusively. The beat is removed from sale and all future licensing stops; you are the only artist on it. Exclusives are quoted individually, so contact us with the beat name or number.
Stems
Stems are the separated tracks of a beat: drums, bass, keys, melodies and effects on their own files. With stems your mix engineer can balance the beat around your vocal, mute parts for a breakdown, or build an intro and outro. Stems are available for any beat on request.
Recording, mixing and mastering
Since the beats come out of a full studio, you can also record your vocals with us, in person in Orange County or remotely, and have the finished song mixed and mastered by the same engineer who made the beat. That is the shortest path from a beat to a release-ready record.

Asaf Fulks is a Grammy-credited producer and engineer with Netflix placements and Gold Records. He has run Hiphopbeatz.com since 2005 and produces, records, mixes and masters every instrumental on the site himself.
